On Tuesday, while consoling Poonam and Sapna’s mother Neelam, who had embraced death after being cut to death by a train, DM, while consoling, first directed CMO Archana Srivastava to get the victim treated. The DM provided immediate assistance of ten thousand rupees to help the victim’s family. Along with this, the DM directed SDM Bidhuna Block Development Officer Sahar Lekhpal Pawan Dixit Pradhan Dinesh Kumar, who was present on the spot, to get financial assistance of thirty thousand rupees under the Family Benefit Scheme to help the victim’s family. Along with this, the DM also assured the help of the victim from the Red Cross.

CM asked the officers and public representatives of all the departments to help in the hour of crisis from the point of view of humanity with other schemes and also with personal cooperation. The District Officer, who reached Dera Jogi in Kanchausi Bazar on Tuesday, met the victim widow Neelam and the children and inquired about their well-being. The victim Neelam demanded government accommodation and toilets to stay. When the elder boy asked the DM to pursue further studies, the district officer assured him to take up the responsibility of his studies at his own expense. The DM asked the head and the ration kotedar to give ration in addition to the ration to the victim’s family. During this, the poor people of Dera Jogi complained to the District Magistrate about the lack of toilets and accommodation. Shivratan Pal gave instructions to cooperate with such people on priority by surveying VDO Sahar. During this, SDM Bidhuna Lavgeet Kaur, Tehsildar Bidhuna Jitesh Verma, Project Director Harendra Singh, BDO Sahar Munish Singh, SO Dibiyapur Shashibhushan Mishra, Outpost Incharge Avinash Chandra , Lekhpal Pawan Dixit, Satyaveer Pal, Gram Panchayat Officer Sudhir Singh, Shivratan Pal and other officers were present.

At the same time, SP District President Rajveer Yadav and District Panchayat member Dharmendra Yadav also met the victim’s family, consoled them and helped them financially and assured to get help from the party’s National President, former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav soon.
