New Delhi : Music streaming service Spotify is testing a personalized feed on the home screen of the app like Chinese short-video making platform TikTok, so that users can easily find music.

It’s testing a new experience for Spotify users (in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada) where they can find new music and watch a canvas loop in a personalized feed that resides on the mobile app’s home screen. .

Every day, the feed will recommend 15 songs.

“Just scroll up or down through your personal preference to navigate the feed, listen to previews, and see the canvas for each song,” the streaming service said.

You can add songs to one of your playlists or follow an artist, all from one place.

Spotify said that if there’s a recommended song you want the world to know about, you can share it directly from the feed on your social channels, and the canvas will loop in the background of your story.

Spotify is also experimenting with an “audio news feed” for podcasts.

The Swedish music streaming service is testing a feature to discover music for listeners with a collection of playlists curated by select Spotify users and influencers.
