Azamgarh : The authorities have registered a case against 22 people under the Gangster Act for breaching the sanctity of the UPTET exam 2021. The accused, including three women, were arrested in January during an attempt to provide solved answer sheets to their clients.
District Magistrate Amrit Tripathi took action under the Gangster Act against 22 accused arrested for attempting to cheat in the TET exam. It has been said that gang leader Arvind Gupta, resident of Kotwali Rampur, Gate Rajdwara police station of Qutubmiya, along with his associates, has worked to ruin the future of meritorious students of the state.
The accused include principals and teachers of several schools, sources say, adding that the gang has created fear and panic among the people.
