Ahmedabad: The Statue of Unity in Kevada will host the National Judicial Conference on April 9 and 10 for two days this year. The National Judicial Conference will be held on 9 and 10 April at the Statue of Unity in Kevadia, Narmada. The meeting will be attended by important people including President Ram Nath Kovind, as well as other judges of the Supreme Court and various high courts. The meeting is being coordinated by the Gujarat High Court and the Gujarat State Government.
Chief Justice of India NV Ramanna and State Governor Acharya Devvrat, besides Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Minister of State for Law Rajendra Trivedi, Law and Justice Minister of Government of India Kiren Rijiju will also attend the inauguration of the conference. , Justice L Nageswara Rao, Justice S Abdul Nazeer, Justice MR Shah, Justice Vikram Nath, and Justice Bela M Trivedi, among others. Registrars of all High Courts, including judges of the Supreme Court, will also mark their presence here.
During the two-day conference, the dignitaries will present their expertise and views on various subjects, which were received and finalized by the Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court Arvind Kumar in consultation with the judges of the Gujarat High Court.
The first day of the conference is divided into three sessions on mediation, while two sessions on Information Technology will be held on April 10. Justice DY Chandrachud, who serves as the chairman of the e-committee of the Supreme Court, will present his views on the subject of justice-technology and the future of the judiciary through video conference.
