A shocking advertisement from a Delhi spa shows evidence of prostitution and a sex racket, according to a video going viral on social media. The video shows advertisements running on LED lights outside a spa in Paschim Vihar, New Delhi.

The video surfaced when Delhi Commission for Women chairperson Swati Maliwal shared the video on her official Twitter account. He demanded action from the Municipal Corporation of Delhi and Delhi Police and also called the incident “shameful”.

In the video, an advertisement can be seen running outside what is said to be a spa in New Delhi. The board’s advertisement suggested that a sex racket was going on in the premises. The display read, “Russian @ Rs 20,000 … sex market, p***y Rs 2000.”

Sharing the video on Twitter, Swati Maliwal wrote, ‘Shameful! Sex racket has increased so much in Delhi spas that spas are now brazenly doing it! Spas are not at all afraid of MCD and Delhi Police. Delhi Police should immediately shut down this spa and take action against the local staff.

The shocking video went viral on social media and was shared multiple times by netizens. Some criticized the spa and demanded action by the authorities, while others said the video was fake, and made to spread rumours.

Dismissing the rumours, the Delhi Police issued a response to the situation. In an official statement, the police said that the video being shared was not of a spa but of a grocery shop located in Paschim Vihar area.

“A video being shared on social media from Paschim Vihar is not of a spa but of a grocery store. There is no illegal activity in this as alleged. The Delhi Police has registered a case after receiving a complaint that the LED board of a store displaying obscene messages was hacked.

Since it was shared, the video has now garnered over 40,000 views on social media, sparking outrage over the incident.
