Bangalore: Bomb blasts have been threatened in five schools in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. The threat was given through email The Commissioner of Police said that the police teams have been dispatched after receiving the threat. After receiving the threat, necessary security arrangements are being made. The schools that have received threats are DPS East in Marathwali, Gopalan International School in Mahadevapura, New Academy School in Marathahalli, Indian Public School in Govindpura and St in Hannur.

According to news agency ANI, Commissioner of Police Kamal Pant said that the local police had reached the school after receiving the bomb threat. The search operation has been started. Bomb disposal squad has also reached the spot and started work. According to NDTV, 4 of these schools are outside Bengaluru. It is learned that the bomb threat email was received at around 10.25 am on Friday. According to reports, the schools which have received threats are being evacuated.
