New Delhi : The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday filed a supplementary charge sheet against two accused Fayaz Ahmed Khan and Tauseef Ahmed Wani in a case related to the seizure of an IED from Jammu.

The supplementary chargesheet was filed before the special NIA court in Jammu under sections 120B of the Indian Penal Code and sections 13, 18, 38 and 39 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

An NIA official said the case pertains to the recovery of an IED from accused Nadeem-ul-Haq from Bhatindi in Jammu when he executed one at the behest of his Pakistan-based masters of TRF, a prominent outfit of Lashkar-e-Taiba. Tried to give IED blast at a public place in Jammu area.

The official said that the investigation revealed that the accused persons were members of the TRF, and in connivance with their Pakistani masters, were involved in spreading subversive activities in the UT. ,
