“We have done a good job in bowling but we still have to do more homework (to control runs) in the powerplays,” said Rahul. We showed tremendous passion. Talked to the bowlers after the powerplay and they bowled on the right line and length. “We knew at that point that we had reached the goal,” he said. The effect of dew is in the mind of all the teams and that is why after winning the toss, all the teams are fielding first. KL Rahul believes that the bowlers of the team are still not performing well in the powerplay.

Delhi captain Rishabh Pant said that due to dew
It was difficult to bowl, but also considered that our team had scored 10-15 runs less. “Obviously when this kind of dew happens, you can’t complain to anyone,” Pant said. But we lost 10-15 runs while batting. We wanted to give our 100 per cent till the last ball.

“We scored well in the powerplay but the equation changed in the middle overs,” he said. The spinners bowled very well but we were 10-15 runs short. Quinton de Kock was adjudged the man of the match for his 80-run knock in the match.
