GHAZIABAD, 08 April (H.S.). Senior Superintendent of Police Muniraj held direct talks with the bullion traders on Friday and appealed to them to be alert. He advised all the businessmen to install CCTV cameras in their business establishments and police verification of the servants.
In a meeting with all the bullion traders and the officials of the Jewelers Association in the auditorium located at Police Lines, the Senior Superintendent of Police asked all the traders to save the mobile number of the police officers (station in-charge / outpost in-charge / beat constable) of his police station area in the phone. And appealed to immediately inform the police if any suspicious person is seen around or suspected.
It is worth noting that during the last few days, there has been a flood of crimes in Ghaziabad. On Thursday also, goldsmith Vikas Verma was shot and injured by miscreants on Rakesh Marg when he opposed the robbery. After which there is panic among the traders. Business organizations have also submitted memorandums to senior police officers for the prevention of crime.
