Maruti Suzuki To Recall EECO Van: Maruti Suzuki has decided to recall its EECO vans. The company said that it will recall 19,731 vehicles of Eco Van to correct incorrect marking of wheel rim size. Maruti Suzuki has given this information in a regulatory filing on the stock exchange.
According to Maruti Suzuki, the country’s largest carmaker noticed in routine inspections that some units of the Eeco manufactured between July 19, 2021 and October 5, 2021 were marking the size of the wheel rims incorrectly. The company said some of these vehicles are being recalled to check the size of the rims on the wheels and correct incorrect markings. The recall will not affect the performance, safety and environment of the vehicle. The company said that the affected vehicle owners will be informed at a Maruti Suzuki authorized workshop for vehicle inspection. And if the rim size marking is found to be wrong then it will be corrected.
