He said that the government is undertaking several important infrastructure projects in Jammu and Kashmir which will improve connectivity in the region.


“We are building Asia’s longest tunnel between Kashmir and Ladakh at Zojila. The Atal Tunnel on the Leh-Manali route has already reduced the travel time. Work is also in progress on the Srinagar-Katra-Delhi Expressway and in future people will be able to reach Delhi in just eight hours from Srinagar.”

He said more people would visit Kashmir if the country had good infrastructure for roads and highways.
