A new form of corona virus XE has spread in India. The first case was registered in Mumbai on Wednesday. A total of 376 samples were taken. A patient was diagnosed with the XE variant of Corona. This version originated in the UK.

In this regard, BMC in its latest CIRO survey said that one case each of XE variant and Kappa variant has been found in the city. A total of 230 people’s reports were sent for the CERO survey, the report said. Out of which 21 people have to be admitted to the hospital. However, it is a matter of relief that no patient needs to be on oxygen or ventilator.

Regarding the new XE variant of Corona, the World Health Organization (WHO) says that two strains of Amicron variants are made of BA.1 and BA.2. Its first case was reported in the UK and it has been named XE variant.

WHO fears that this variant may spread rapidly. There is a steady decline in the cases of corona in India and the number of active cases has fallen sharply to less than 15,000. The emergence of the XE variant now is certainly worrying. The discovery of the new version has raised fears of a reversal of the success of the corona epidemic so far.

In countries like China and South Korea, Corona has once again raised its head. Shanghai, the so-called economic capital of China, is in a state of lockdown and millions of tests are being conducted every day.

According to IIT Kanpur, there is a possibility of fourth wave of corona in India by June 2022. However, experts believe that widespread vaccination has taken place in the country. The new wave of corona is unlikely to be as deadly as before.
