A similar explosion in Kabul last Sunday killed one person and injured 59, according to the AP news agency. According to reports, on April 3, a grenade thrown by an alleged thief in the money changer market in Kabul also exploded.
The information was shared by Kabul’s emergency hospital via Twitter, which said that of the 59 injured, 30 had been admitted for further treatment.
The Afghan capital has faced regular attacks since the Taliban took control of the country in August 2021. Kabul was the last province to fall before its takeover by the Taliban. Since then there have been numerous reports of human rights violations and attacks in the region.
