Saharsa, June 09 (HS). A large quantity of viscoding syrup, which is banned by the Bihar government, was recovered from Rajendra Nagar Intercity Express train on Sunday. It is said that 176 bottles of syrup were recovered from two pittu bags lying unattended in the general coach of the train. All the bottles are of 100 ml. Currently, RPF has handed over the case to the excise department.
According to the information, Rajendra Nagar Saharsa Intercity Express reached the junction on Sunday at 1:30 pm as per the schedule. On the basis of secret information, when the team of RPF Sub Inspector Sujit Kumar Mishra, Constable Prem Kishore Prem, Ajit Rai and other teams along with the team of Excise Department inspected the train coach, two bags were found lying unclaimed in a general coach. During this, when the passengers around were asked, no one gave any information. Later, when the bag was searched, 176 bottles of banned cough syrup were recovered from it. Which has been banned by the Bihar Government. Currently, RPF has handed over the recovered syrup to the Excise Department, while the Excise Department is investigating the matter.
