11 members of a family died due to heavy rains in Pakistan

Neighboring country Pakistan is currently receiving torrential rains. So it has come to light that rain has caused damage in many areas. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of northwestern Pakistan, 11 members of the same family, including six children, died after water entered the basement of the house due to heavy rains. In this regard, the rescue team investigator said that the incident took place in Darra Adam of Khel Taluk of Kohat district, 35 km south of Peshawar.

According to Pakistan's National Disaster Agency, rainwater entered the basement of the house, trapping the family there. As a result, six children, three women and two men died. Rescue teams reached the spot and recovered the bodies from the basement. Later, the bodies were shifted to a government hospital in Kohat. Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Ali Amin has expressed deep grief over the deaths following the rain.
