10 people including a husband and wife died due to lightning in Pratapgarh

Pratapgarh, July 10 (HS). Late on Wednesday evening, 10 people including a husband and wife died after being struck by lightning in different police station areas of Pratapgarh. On receiving information about the loss of life due to this natural disaster, the revenue officer reached the spot and sent all the bodies for post-mortem after preparing the Panchnama. Along with this, assurance has been given to provide all possible financial assistance.
10 people died in different police station areas of the district due to lightning. This has caused panic among the family members. After getting information about the case, the police and administration team reached the house of the deceased and took the bodies in their custody.

On Wednesday evening, during a light rain, a period of lightning started amidst the thundering of the clouds. Here, farmer Arjun (45), his wife Suman (42), and Ram Pyari (48) of Amhara village of Kandhai, who were planting paddy crop in Purushottampur village of Kandhai police station area, died on the spot after being struck by lightning.

Vijay Kumar Verma (40), who was grazing goats near Para Hamirpur Neem Dabha village in the Antu police station area, was also struck by lightning and died on the spot. Chandrashekhar's wife Aradhana (50), who lived near Tilhar Derwa village in the Jetwara police station area, was struck by lightning.

Advocate Pankaj Tiwari (38) of Saifu Ka Purwa village of Nawabganj police station area, Ka Kanti (20) daughter of Ram Adhar of Atauriya village of Manikpur police station area died due to lightning. Shiv Patel (25) of Manar village of Manikpur, Guddu Saroj (38) of Ashogi village of Sangramgarh, Ram Swaroop (65) of Naya Ka Purwa village of Sangramgarh, Avinash Tiwari (18) of Amarai village of Fatanpur also died due to lightning. The paddy planting season is going on, due to which most of the people stay in their fields, due to which the mountain of lightning has fallen on them. All the people who have died so far were either working in the fields or had gone to the mango orchard.
